Maira is currently enrolled at Amarillo Medical Assistant School to get her certificate and has had a variety of interesting jobs in her career so far. (She often tells the story of how while working at Louis Vuitton in Alvarado, TX, she met the CEO chairman Bernard Arnault and his son and got to take a picture with them. She also got to see Donald Trump and his daughter when they went to the inauguration of the office in Alvarado, TX.) What Maira loves most about her current role at Sievers Sports Medicine is seeing behind the scenes of the office on the insurance and business side, as opposed to just the medical side where she first started.
Maira is very family-oriented and is interested in pursuing a degree after I finish my medical assistant school. After working in a medical setting, the study of anatomy and physiology has been growing on her!
