No Bones About It:
More about Our On-Site X-Rays
A sports injury can happen in a split second. One minute, you’re in the game. The next, you’ve twisted your ankle or snapped a knee ligament. And that’s when the real work begins.
A sudden sports injury can dramatically impact your life, disrupting training, competition, and daily movement. Immediate medical care is essential in correctly diagnosing and treating your injury, which is why Sievers Sports Medicine offers same-day urgent care services at our clinic.
A key feature of those services is our on-site X-ray machine, which allows us to quickly and easily identify injuries so we can develop the right treatment program for your needs.

Shining a Light On Your Injury
X-rays create images of bones and joints using a small dose of radiation. They help our team see what’s happening inside your body without surgery. We opt for X-rays at our clinic because they’re fast and reliable, especially for common sports injuries like the following:
Treatment Approaches Guided by X-Rays
Once we’ve reviewed your X-rays, we’ll develop a care plan based on what the images (and your physical exam) reveal. Typical strategies include:
Why You Should Choose Urgent Care at Sievers Sports Medicine
A sports injury isn’t a major medical emergency in the same way that a heart attack or stroke is, which means if you visit an emergency room for a broken bone or ligament tear, you may find yourself waiting long hours to get treatment.
We offer same-day urgent care visits to help you avoid this inconvenience. Our team can evaluate and treat common sports injuries in one visit, so you can get the care you need and go about your day.
Other benefits? You don’t have to wait for X-ray or diagnostic ultrasound referrals, as we offer them in-house. Furthermore, our providers are trained specifically in sports medicine, giving us the expertise to interpret imaging results in the context of athlete performance. That means we can provide targeted advice to get you back in the game.

Moving Forward After an Injury
An X-ray isn’t just a cool picture. For bone-related injuries, X-ray imaging can form the foundation of a treatment plan to help you return to your chosen sport. Whether you’re a young athlete with a fractured wrist or an adult runner with a stress fracture, clear imaging ensures that healing starts on the right track.
If you ever find yourself with a sudden, unexpected sports injury, contact Sievers Sports Medicine to get started with our same-day urgent care services. Skip the wait and get the care you need quickly and efficiently!

Patient Success
“I have seen Dr. Sievers for several years for long standing injuries I have. He and his staff have always done a great job. I totally recommend him to anyone. I’ve even brought my mom to see him all the way from Oklahoma. Dr. Sievers is a very caring, extremely competent physician. I am an orthodontist and have years of training. I can tell you that Dr. Sievers knowledge of anatomy is exemplary. He may practice in a small town, but he is a world class practitioner and stays up to date on the cutting edge of regenerative medicine. Portalis is blessed to have him. I can not give a strong enough recommendation for Dr. Sievers and his staff. Many years ago I suffered debilitating injuries. I have seen doctors in Colorado, Maryland, Saint Louis, Oklahoma City…and Doctor Sievers worked with me tirelessly and did not give up on me when others did. I would not be able to practice today without him. He saved my life. Thank You Dr. Sievers.” – J.B.
